International Conference of the Max Weber Foundation is organized by the German Institute for Japanese Studies (DIJ)and Sophia University Graduate School of Global Studies (GSGS), supported by the German Centre for Research and Innovation Tokyo (DWIH Tokyo) and the National Institutes for the Humanities (NIHU).
The second day will focus on Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and the Indo-Pacific to explore common topics.
From NIHU, Edward Boyle of Nichibunken, Minoru Mio and Rintaro Ono of National Museum of Ethnology will be in the session.
