Job description: The successful candidate shall be responsible for the following duties at the National Museum of Japanese History (hereafter “Rekihaku”) under the Director of the Center for Information and Public Relations, National Institutes for the Humanities.
1. Participate in study and research activities conducted by Rekihaku while making use of his/her own specialty.
2. Collect information on Rekihaku’s research activities and plan and implement effective initiatives to benefit society by transmitting, publicizing, and publishing information, including outreach to non-Japanese audiences.
3. Through interactive communication with the community, cooperate with exhibition tasks for visible presentation of research results.
4. Collect information on research activities at the entire group of NIHU institutes and cooperate with efforts to benefit society by transmitting and publicizing transdisciplinary information.
5. Communicate the results of human cultural research through a variety of media such as symposia and other methods of information transmission involving collaboration with society and the mass media.
6. Participate in work related to dissemination of information by the Center for Information and Public Relations.
